Asian Culture

In Halong, Vietnam, people live in floating houses -- something that has been done for hundreds of years. In Thailand, a Buddhist temple in Nakhon Nayok, not far from Bangkok, holds rituals where people lie in coffins for a few minutes while monks pray, and then rise, believing they have been cleansed of their pasts and are prepared for the future. Tea ceremonies are huge, especially in China, India and Malaysia. And, Origami, which is the art of folding paper, is fashionable in Japan.
