Life is so Beautiful....

May 26, 2010 |10:06 | The Circle of Life  By : Team X

The life of man is a journey; a journey that must be travelled, however bad the roads or the weather or the travellers. Life has many twists and turns in it, you have to take what you are given and use it for the best.

Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. You just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts.

Sufi Concept Of FanaAmong all species, a human being has the potential of evolving to the highest level of consciousness and becoming a siddha or saint, one who has attained spiritual perfection through sadhana.

According to S H Nasr: “To become a saint in Islam is to realise all the possibilities of the human state, to become the universal man.

The mystic quest is none other than the realisation of this state, which is also union with God, for the universal man is the mirror in which are reflected all the divine names and qualities.”

September 15, 2009 |11:42 | Colourful Festivals | The Circle of Life  By : Team X

Located on an area of land half the size of Turkey, Japan's population is twice that of Turkey. It is the second-biggest nation in the world in economic terms; this country, whose people are known for their diligence and eagerness to work, consists of an archipelago of more than 6,800 islands. It achieved striking development in late 19th and early 20th centuries and has become a world leader in technology.

Japan, its old capital Kyoto and the Aoi Festival

Japan is one of the most expensive countries in the world. It is also a crowded one; this country is most probably uses its land more efficiently than most countries in the world. It has a high population density: 337 people per square kilometer.

Before visiting Japan, one expects to see the traditional Japanese houses, streets and temples which we are familiar with from the movies. However, in reality there are few traces of this history in the daily life of the Japanese because Japan is now a technology giant, but there are places where you can experience something of this history and tradition; special attractions have been created for tourists and locals curious about the historical Japanese lifestyle.

August 17, 2009 |13:34 | The Circle of Life  By : Team X

A six-hour drive, mostly on an unpaved and jumpy road of coarse sand, separates between the Azeri capital of Baku and the mountainous city of Gabala. There, in the open air, the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra opened the first international music festival in the region on Thursday evening. The festival's opening ceremony, sponsored by the Azeri government, received extensive media coverage by local TV stations, which broadcast the concert live.

Raanana Symphonette performs in Azerbaijan

"Azerbaijan wants to show the world that we have something to offer," a local media representative told Ynet. "Culture and music is an excellent communication instrument." Several weeks after President Shimon Peres' first visit to Azerbaijan, it spears that the historic visit of an Israeli orchestra in a Muslim country bordering on Iran has a considerable political significance as well. The importance of the performance was manifested in the impressive presence of government officials and senior parliament members who attended the festive event in Gabala.

Create Your Own Life And Stop Complaining!

July 10, 2009 |12:27 | The Circle of Life  By : Team X

We call it by different terms - such as griping, grumbling, whining or just plain complaining. In the Bible, the common term used was "murmuring." But regardless of how we term it, complaining always has the same symptoms. The dictionary defines it as "an expression of unhappiness, dissatisfaction, or discontent." Complaining is the outward expression of discontent from within.

We all complain every now and then, don't we? But some of us complain a little more than others. Some even complain all the time. One thing is for sure. People who believe in creating their own life don't complain as much as those who merely think "life happens to me". In fact, complaining is almost the single giveaway clue as to which category you belong to.

It's almost too common to hear people complain about their teacher, their up-line or their down-line (if they are in the MLM business), their stockbroker, their colleagues, their bosses and believe it or not, even their parents. This is a common one I hear all the time, "My dad has a really horrendous temper, so I guess I got a little bit of that from him!". Big time losers go a little further, they blame their grandparents and ancestors, "Oh, our family line have always been not very well-off, so I guess I'm never going to be rich!". Anthony Robbins puts it in a much better perspective; The past does not equal the present!

Circle of life by Michael Groll

June 20, 2009 |09:39 | The Circle of Life  By : Team X

Circle-of-life-by-MichaelSome of you wished to see a redrawn version of that pic, especially concerning the smoke that fills the circle arround the drangon. I will do this for sure, but at the moment other things are more important. But it made me think about the pic, and well, it looked indeed very unfinished. So, I decided to complete it a bit. At the moment we are working on an improved design for our Ashnadar-homepage. I'm doing a lot of designwork for that, creating bars, dots and such stuff. The most important element will be a flash-animated ring that serves a a sitemap. I drew it with acrylics and finished it with photoshop. The crystal balls were made of a friend of mine with a 3D-animation software. So, here are two pics in one, the original circle-of-life-dragon and the ring. I like the result very much. The meaning is still the same, everything in life runs in circles, birth includes death and every death means a new birth, a new beginning.
